Do I need Proof of Citizenship?
The State of Kansas is currently in a series of lawsuits over if their new restrictive voting laws are Constitution. Currently, you DO NOT need to submit proof of citizenship if you register using the Federal Form; however, you DO need to submit it if you use the State Form. If you would like to be 100% positive that you will be eligible to vote no matter the outcome of the lawsuits, we advise that you submit your proof of citizenship by following this step.
Have a Felony? You can reregister to vote once you have completed your sentence and are off probation and parole.
Has your name changed since you were born? If your full name or gender on your photo ID does not exactly match your proof of citizenship you will need to fill out THIS FORM and scan, fax, or mail it to your county elections office found HERE
